On October 13, Governor Wolf announced changes to Pennsylvania’s rental assistance program. Notably, landlords may now enter into repayment agreements with their tenants; they are no longer required to forgive rent that is owed. The Wolf Administration hopes that this change will provide an incentive for more landlords to participate in the program.

Earlier inthe week, the Governor extended the application deadline to November 4.

The Center for Disease Contro’s eviction moratorium’s expiration date of December 31 is unchanged.

Here is the Governor’s press release on these changes to the rental relief program.
